How to crack UPSC in first attempt.

UPSC PREPARATION TIPS

This is a good thing that you want to prepare for the IAS examination from your own. Don't worry about your preparation I’ll give you everything here. I am starting from the scratch and then opening the flow of strategy.
Your exam is I think in June, so you need to start your preparation from today. How I’ll tell you here. First, start your preparation for the mains and don't worry about pre. You can start your preparation for pre from April but in these three months fully dedicated yourself for your aim. You need to focus on a capability to taking the risk. Here risk in the form of other jobs. For example, if you are also prepared for SSC or banks or any other government jobs then left this for UPSC because if you fill other government jobs also then it will loose your focus which is important for your one-time goal which is IAS. You can start your preparation from today with these types of mindset. Before purchasing the book, before going to take advice for this and before anything you need to prepare your mind just like an officer. Here I want to go in deep where I would tell you first for tools for cracking this exam and then about opinion developing mindset with an officer mindset.
Tools- First of all, you need three books which will create your level above the other competitor. These three books are-
1.Polity (DD base), Introduction To The Constitution Of India Book.

2.Economics ( Mishra and puri) Buy Indian Economy Book.

3.History (Bipin Chandra)Buy History of Modern India Book.

First, purchase these three books. These books will create a path of success for you, especially for IAS. So put your heart, mind and soul for completing these books for your future. First, read these books and revise it in every month because if you reading something then also there is a great chance that you forget what you read and if you revise something then you are fully aware of every provision, every law and some aspects of your economy growth along with history. Try to revise these three books at least one time in every month.
Except for these book you need two additional thing which makes your tool in this examination. The first one is NCERT ( the old one is best, New ones is also good) from 9th to 12. Take this and read it first from your own and the second one is Newspaper (The Hinduis best especially for the editorial part). These are the tools just like your equipment for this job.
How to read- Whenever you start your preparation and start reading anything then always use your inquisitiveness to know about thing along with developing Idea, It will help you a lot for answer writing. For example- In today's newspaper “The Hindu” Ms. Madhuraand Sonika Gupta writing a long article about the “The One China Principle” which goes circulate around China, Taiwan together with Washington DC. The statement and argument dealing with all the thing which adhered with the Donald trump who gave to china to its supremacy and take one side decision without thinking about the Taiwan which wants some other thing from the President of US. Although I didn't read today's newspaper with focussed mind but here I would tell you that when you reading this during your preparation then think about the things don't read what MonikaGupta says or what Jairam Ramesh said you don't need to think with close mind unless you need to think about the aspect which is required for the US- china Relation ( only when you read this) you can think about things and take your opinion on the behalf of that. If you didn't know something then use your inquisitiveness to know about the political aspects or what is the impact of these things on population or our civil society. You are preparing for being an officer, so you need to be prepared always ethically defensible argument, which is a great need for the job of yours. So, always think after reading everything. during your study, if you think something is tough then give your more time to those particular topics or subjects. Only one thing you need to know that whatever your argument, whatever your decision, everything was helpful for everyone and everyone happy about it, if you are able to create something then this is going to be a better thing for society and its also open a chance for your selection. This is all about your mains. The thing I’ll discuss here is not only for the newspaper but also for the books I would tell you here. Just as you think for the people at the time of reading newspaper as you read your book. When you reading something from the books then try to know what was the reason behind everythingfor History, for Economy and for Polity, here you also need to know what is the reason behind each and every provision.
Prelims- You can start your preparation with the solve papers. Whatever you are reading notes, books left all this from half April. In April you need to solve question papers of prelims. For prelims take some 60–80 papers and finished them in 60 days. This is the thing required for cracking prelims because you should know everything which you read from Jan to march and you can easily use these things for prelims paper. It became quite easy for you. this is the thing you are required to cracking prelims. For the interview, we are talking about after mains.
Tips- here are some tips which you need during your preparation.

1.Dont listen to anyone who becomes a hurdle in your path. There is some peoples in our society who would demotivate you. Don't listen to them because if someone tried his best but not success its doesn't mean you are going to fail in your path.

2.Avoid distraction- Avoid all types of distractions. Distractions in the form of Friends, family, girlfriend, boyfriend, Social media, relatives. Cut all of them. Here I didn't mean don't talk to anyone, These people are your support base you can't let anyone but if you can spend time with each and every person on every day then you didn’t left have much time for reading books and as all of you know books are needed our requisite attention, it takes time. You need to manage them with their required respective time.

3. Avoid Bad habits- If you are drinking or smoking then stop this if you are not able to do that then also use to decide a limit for that.Don't cross your limit. If someone comes near to you and says to you that don't do something which was against the nature then you can't stop them to say the “It's your choice” you can't say that because you are now going to be an officer and if you not then no one became an administrator and if not you then no one became an Administrator. So, Why we waste our time in these evil things and you also know that it’ll destroy you, So, why we need it. Hence left it right now.

4. Be social person- A social person is a person who thinks for the people. If you have something then you can give it to your society. You can take it as my example-In 2017 I turned to 22 but except this, I’ve something giving to you, You need something and I have something then what is the problem to share my knowledge to you, After succeeding yourself if you say just two words to me “Thank you” then in that particular moment I would think myself to Top of the world and believe me this is enough for me. I know something (not more than you) for preparing exams and I know the pain of the students who would put their heart mind and soul but except this not selected for the job and always face rejection and its not easy to face rejection courageously, It would happen because the people who would select became dead and not helping the people. I do not blame to everyone because they are also busy on some others work but they have better knowledge than anybody else. So, if you have something then give it to the society this is the quality of the social person. You connect with the people and communicate with them and ask them what problem they face, that'll help you for your examination. You can create more material for your mains through socialism and that is the quality which is needed for administrator.

5. Be happy- Always be happy with what you are doing. If someone trying to demotivate you then trick them back tell them that you are smarter than them from your word. And this is only possible if you are truly happy with your preparation. Always be inquisitive, be happy people yar because you guys are going to work for the people who need you unless you are not satisfying by doing your own work, how could they get satisfaction to getting work done by you. So think about that.
So these are the thing you required for your preparation and if there are yet another thing you want to discuss with me, you can ask it to me on Instagram ( Sonumeenabarwal ) for a smooth conversation. Otherwise, I think I’ll discuss everything which I had.
